Draft of proposed signage
For donations of $25 to $50, your business name or logo can be printed on an Awareness Sign.
We’re giving local businesses an opportunity to sponsor Awareness Signage for the Hancock County Least Terns. You can have your logo or business name on one of our heavy-duty signs that will be posted this year – and hopefully in future years too!
These signs will be placed around the perimeter of the Hancock County least tern colony in mid-May and remain in place while the terns are nesting (usually they leave in mid-July to mid-August).
They will be printed on aluminum or a special heavy-duty plastic sign board and mounted on a 2" X 4" wooden post (mounting and wood post supplied courtesy of Audubon Mississippi).
The smaller signs will be placed on the beach, perpendicular to the road to alert beach-walkers. The larger signs will be placed parallel to the road, in front of the dunes.
Your business will also be featured on the Audubon Mississippi Facebook page and listed on this website as a Hancock Tern Champion.
